Next stop: the finals at the EIT Health Summit in London

EIT Health has announced the winning companies for the medical technology category in the European Health Catapult Contest. The winners were chosen during a 3-day competition in Barcelona.

Next to business strategy and achievements of Surge-on Medical, CEO Benno Groosman presented the Steerable Punch that will launch to the market in early 2018. The presentation also included Surge-on Medical’s future products, such as the Steerable Grasper and PoLaRS.

The semi-finals took place in front of a jury of investors and representatives of B.Braun, Monticarlo Capital, YSIOS Capital, BioSense Global LLC and Anaconda Biomed. Surge-on Medical was selected as one of the finalists that will compete to determine the “best-of-the-best” during the EIT Health Summit in London in December 2017.
